Purchase tickets to enter a 3 bowl Scroungers Competition. This is an individual, not a team, event. Bowls will be followed by a BBQ.  18 ends, followed by a two-end semi final and one end, sudden death grand final.  Please arrive by midday. Practice finishes at 12.15pm. Games commence at 12.30pm.  Casual clothes. Refer to Conditions of Play & Other Details for further information.  First prize $50 for the individual winning the Grand Final. 2nd Prize $25 for the second highest points scorer in the Grand Final. Rink winners receive $10 each Tickets can be purchased only in the week preceding each Saturday competition.  Latest entry time is 10:00 AM on the day of the competition. Purchase tickets by clicking the Get Tickets button.   You will be asked to provide the name of an entrant for each ticket purchased. There is no need to print and bring your ticket(s).  We will have a list of all entrants. Should a competition be cancelled due to inclement weather, a refund will be processed automatically to the credit/debit card you used. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please phone Mike on 0425 761141 or Roger on 0437 877103 prior to 10am Saturday. Cancellations after this time cannot be refunded.

Competitive Duplicate session & Back to Basics session. B2B is an opportunity for newer players to practice their newly learned skills at the table in a supportive and educational environment. Players can ask questions about bidding and card play. Discussions can be for the table or just for you. You might even like to play a hand in one contract, and then re-play it in another contract to see how it plays out. We provide experienced mentors. You do not need a partner. We build tables of 4 as people arrive. Please purchase your tickets, save your email with attached tickets and show them at the door on arrival.

All North Balwyn Bowls Club Members are invited to attend the Official Opening of the 2026-2027 Bowls Season on Saturday 5th September 2026 commencing at 12.00PM. Please arrive at the Club no later than 12 noon for registration. An Official Opening ceremony will take place on Green 1 at 12.15pm and bowls will commence immediately after this ceremony.  Bowls will continue until 3.00pm follwed by a special afternoon tea at 3.15pm with a report from our Bowls Director on the upcoming season.  All members are welcome to attend regardless of their intention to play bowls on the day. You are also invited to stay for the "Happy Hour". PLEASE SELECT ONE OF THE TICKET OPTIONS INDICATING YOUR INTENTION TO ATTEND PRIOR TO WEDNESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2026 Club uniforms are to be worn or neat casual attire for our new bowlers. We look forward to seeing you to commence our official bowls season.
