It is with much sadness that we advise the passing of our Life Member, Margaret Beech at CraigCare, Pascoe Vale on Friday 4th September 2026 at the age of 93.

Margaret was a long-standing member, having joined our club in January 1990 and was honoured with Life Membership during the 2012-2013 season in acknowledgement of her many contributions which included:

• 1994-1996 Treasurer of the NBBC Ladies Section
• 2007-2008 Women’s Singles Champion
• 2007-2008 Winner of the Women’s Pairs with Ula Heaney
• 2009-2010 President of NBBC Ladies Section
• 2009-2010 Winner of the Women’s Pairs with Ula Heaney
• 2010-2011 Winner of the Women’s Pairs with Ula Heaney
• 2012-2013 Member of the winning Div 3 Section Tuesday Open Pennant team.

Unfortunately, Margaret’s health prevented her from attending the club in recent years, however many of us knew her well and have fond memories of bowling with her.

We extend our deepest sympathy to her son Geoff and family.
