It would be a pleasure to welcome you as a member to the North Balwyn Bowls Club Inc (NBBC). With over 400 members, our club provides a social gathering place for the following activities:
- Bowls – We offer Outdoor and Indoor competitions both in a Pennant and Social format. We have Beginner sessions for you try the sport and receive coaching.
- Bridge – We play Bridge! Supervised play and competitive Duplicate sessions on Monday and Thursday
- Pickleball - Tuesday & Wednesday evenings 7-9pm, Friday mornings 9.30-11am
- Craft – Our craft groups meets on the 2nd Monday of the month
- Library – Our members have created a free library of games, puzzles and books
- Mahjong - Mahjong meets on the 2nd & 4th Fridays of the month
- Garden Plots – Grow your own vegetables and share the products of your labour, we have sunny garden plots available for hire
- Social Activities – We celebrate occasions such as Cup Day, President’s Day and Christmas for all members, with meals and drinks
Membership Fees
There are two membership categories:

This membership is for Outdoor Bowling and also includes all the benefits of Social/Non-Bowling membership.

This membership includes Indoor Bowls, Bridge, Mahjong, Pickleball, Craft and garden plots - but no Outdoor Bowling.
All rates may be reduced when joining part-way thru the year.

To join as a Bowling member:
- Register your interest using the Bowling Registration form
- One of the team will be in touch to welcome you and outline how the club works and to arrange a clearance if you are also a member of an another club
To join as a Social/Non bowling member:
- Register using the Social Registration form
