- Our club's values are that we do not show results for those pairs placed last
- We will be moving to booking and paying for a ticket on Monday evenings. Stay tuned.
- Rosters - our rosters page is up, listing rosters for Kitchen, Bar, Set up and Bridge Management, for 2025. Familiarise yourself with this page on our website. If you need to change your roster, you need to find and agree a replacement and change the roster for all to see. It is a self-serve process.
Be a better player
We are still finding players not announcing their opening 1C & 1NT bids. The opposition should not have to ask "What is your 1C opening"? or "What is your 1NT range"? So let us continue to practice doing the right thing:
- Announce your opening bids - 2 opening bids require an announcement by the bidder's partner
- 1C opening - you must announce the minimum clubs required for the opening
- 1NT opening - you must announce the point range for the opening
- Keep all bids in place on the table until the Opening Lead is made. The opposition needs to know the bids placed and the order of the bids, to decide on the best opening lead. Packup time will come for everyone - it is AFTER the opening lead...not before. Don't move bids aside or anywhere...wait until it is packup time, then put them away.
