We are a friendly group that meets 9.30am – 12.30pm on the second Monday of the month to share our talents with one another over a cup of tea/coffee.  Sometimes we will have demonstrations or projects you can participate in, if you wish.  To make an enquiry please email the club.

In August we had a couple away sick and three holidaying within the state, interstate or internationally. Hopefully the holidaymakers will have some good stories to tell on their return.

Anna handed out the finished stars from July and then instructed the ladies in making a fabric covered ball. Our knitting group at the other end of the table is growing with the return to Craft of Sue Hipwell. Maureen McIntosh brought in some beautiful garments for KOGO which were made on her knitting machine.

 In September we welcomed Anne Scott, a new member, to Craft. Anne fitted right into the group helping the ladies to make their flowers from Cupcake papers. Perhaps our leader (Lois) was a little too ambitious with the number of flowers she expected the ladies to make.

On 12 October Anna is going to be making Christmas Cards and cardmaking is always a popular craft.

Even though the KOGO Challenge had finished we received another 15 squares. These have been taken to the drop-off point. Betty Collins, Robyn McClelland and myself are amazed at the result of the Challenge. The KOGO Volunteers have a good supply to make blankets for 2027.
