Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from NBBC Crafters
KOGO Challenge
We will keep the Kogo challenge going throughout the year - lets see how many squares our club can knit for KOGO, to be made into cot blankets and adults blankets. If you need wool, we do have 8 Ply yarn we can provide. If you have wool at home, it doesn’t matter what colour you use; Stripes, Multi-colour or Plain are all acceptable.
The guidelines for knitters:
- 8 Ply Wool
- Garter Stitch – (Knit every row)
- Square must measure 20cm x 20cm, so check your tension. Generally, 40 stitches on either 4mm or 4.5mm Needles (for tighter knitters) will give this measurement.
- All ends must be sewn in
If you have any questions, please speak to Betty Collins or Therese James (Bridge), Bev Brown or Gayle Slessar (Bowls) or Lois Staunton (Craft). Please leave your donated squares at the Club in the box marked KOGO CHALLENGE.
